Creative Keyz Recitals: Performance Tips
Performing is an art that requires discipline, perseverance and natural talent. It is one of the most rewarding parts of being a musician to share one's hard work with others. Below are some tips to help ensure that students are prepared to showcase their pieces.
WEEK OF RECITAL
Students are encouraged to give home performances without stopping, or record their pieces on a cell phone and listen to it noting on the music where they need to work on their memory.
Practice introduction-speech and bow at the end. Invite family and friends to listen in on your dress rehearsal. Have fun!
